The 2G mobile internet services which were restored in Kashmir last month, have been suspended again on Sunday, on the death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
There are mild restrictions in parts of Srinagar, officials said. The All Party Hurriyat Conference has called for a bandh in Kashmir on Afzal Guru's death anniversary.
The Internet had been restored in the region on January 25 after an over five-month communication blockade. 2G Internet services worked though several restrictions, on postpaid mobiles and only on those prepaid mobile SIM card holders whose credentials have been verified by the security agencies.
