Jammu, Aug 29 : Pakistan Army on Saturday yet again resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control in Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, a defence Spokesperson said.
''At about 1300 hours Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars in Poonch'', he further said. He added that Indian Army was retaliating befittingly to the firing. On Friday, Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Gurez Rajouri sector in which 15 residential houses destroyed.
On August 24, an Army jawan was martyred in cross border firing while heavy damage was inflicted to Pakistani Army posts across the Line of Control in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district. (UNI)
