Jammu, Aug 28: Top HR professionals are all set to take part in a two-day conclave to be hosted by the Indian Institute of Management in Jammu from August 30 to 31.
“IIM Jammu is organizing its second HR Conclave during August 30-31 with an aim to bring top HR professionals of the country to discuss and deliberate the future of HR while fostering practitioner-oriented learning amongst the future leaders of the country studying at IIM Jammu,” Prof B S Sahay, Director IIM Jammu here on Wednesday.
He said that with the aim to provide value-based quality education and conduct high quality research and consultancy, it is a consistent endeavor at IIM Jammu to ensure strong corporate as well as international linkages while promoting contemporary research and dialogue concentrating on regional, national and global issues. Prof Sahay mentioned that the conclave centers around the implications on human resource management due to the advent of the fourth industrial revolution popularly referred as Industry 4.0. He said that in an era where production is driven by technology, automation, and interconnectivity, it is imperative for HR to evolve with the ever changing industrial landscape. (UNI)
