Srinagar, Jul 20 : Former minister Hakeem Yaseen and ex-MLA Peerzada Mansoor Hussain on Saturday met Governor Satya Pal Malik separately and raised various issues of public importance.
A Raj Bhavan spokesperson told UNI that Mr Yaseen met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan here. Mr Yaseen apprised the Governor about various developmental and other issues relating to Khansahib constituency. He also brought to the Governor’s notice the tourism potential of areas like Dhoodhpathri and Tosa Maidan of Budgam District and shared his perspective for developing them as major tourism destinations.
The Governor urged Mr Yaseen to continue his sustained endeavours for promoting public good. Meanwhile, the spokesperson said Mr Hussain also met Mr Malik at the Raj Bhavan here separately.
Mr Hussain apprised the Governor about various issues of public importance of the Shangus constituency including augmentation of power and water supply, education and health facilities. He assured full support of the local people for the smooth conduct of Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
The Governor urged Mr Hussain to continue his sustained endeavours for promoting public welfare. (UNI)
