Srinagar, Jun 20: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday took a jibe at a state police signboard on historic Mughal road, asking people ‘not to use mobile phone while drinking’, instead of driving.
Meanwhile, Traffic Police has ordered enquiry after pictures of the signboard installed at Peer Ki Gali on Mughal road, went viral on social media, particularly Facebook and Twitter.
“You’ve had the advice to not drink & drive & the advice to not use your mobile phone while driving. Here’s a new piece of advice,” Mr Abdullah, who is the Vice President of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Since the picture of the signboard went viral on social media early this week, it has become butt of all jokes on Facebook and twitter. (UNI)
