Three injured in south Kashmir grenade blast

Srinagar, Jan 30: At least three persons were injured when suspected militants hurled a hand grenade towards a police station in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Wednesday, official sources said.

They said suspected militants lobbed a hand grenade towards police station Damhal Hanjipora, Kulgam.

However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded outside the police station resulting in splinter injuries to three persons.

The injured were rushed to hospital, they said adding that a massive search operation was launched to nab those responsible for the attack. (UNI)
