Brasilia, June 6 : following the footsteps of its US counterpart Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Friday threatens WHO to pull out his country from the organisation.
Accusing the body of being "partisan" and "political" Bolsonaro said 'I’m telling you right now, the United States left the WHO, and we’re studying that, in the future. Either the WHO works without ideological bias, or we leave, too,. Bolsonaro said it was no coincidence that days later when Trump cut their cash, the WHO reversed its decision to suspend clinical testing of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19. Brazil' s total COVID-19 deaths have surged to 34,021 which make the country third worst affected in the world after its health ministry on Thursday reported 1,437 new deaths in the past 24 hours.
