Dhaka, May 24 : Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Sunday called upon all to show sympathy to one another by sinking their differences in a bid to tackle the situation, which arose due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a message of felicitation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest religious festivals of Muslims, Tarique Rahman, acting chairman of BNP, urged all irrespective of caste, creed and party affiliation to show their humanity in facing the situation. Tarique said there will be no festivity at many houses this Eid. Many have lost their near and dear ones due to coronavirus. Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be observed in Bangladesh on May 25. (UNI)
