Washington, May 3: US President Donald Trump on Sunday said that he is glad that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un appears to be well.
"I, for one, am glad to see he is back, and well!" Trump said reposting Kim's his newly released pictures by the state media. The North Korean leader had not made any public appearance from past 20 days, forcing media houses to draw speculations that Kim has passed away. Kim made his first public appearance on Saturday, putting to rest all speculations of his ill health.
The official Korean Central News Agency had reported that Kim attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony of a phosphatic fertiliser factory on Friday. He was joined by his sister Kim Yo Jong as well as other senior officials, it added. "A completion ceremony of the Sunchon Phosphatic Fertiliser Factory, which has been built as the production base of fertilizer, was splendidly held on May Day, the international holiday of the working people of the whole world", the report said.
