Seoul, May 3 : South Korea continued it's recovery from the Novel Coronavirus pandemic, as it reported just 13 new cases on Sunday, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) reported.
According to KCDC, the nation has been recording less than 15 cases in a day since the past two weeks and was likely to loosen the social distancing norms soon, as it aims to gradually normalise life. The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases currently stands at 10,793, including 1,091 imported ones.
Out of the 13 new infections, 10 were imported, Yonhap quoted KCDC as saying. Till now, 9,183 people have recovered, which comes to 85 percent recovery rate, while the overall fatality rate stands at 2.32 per cent, it added. (UNI)
