Lusaka, Apr 18: Zambia reported five new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 57, the country's Health ministry said on Saturday. According to Health Minister ChitaluChilufya, all the cases were from Kafue town, located south of Lusaka, where a massive testing and screening exercise was currently underway.
He said 124 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, out of which, five came out positive. The Minister said the screening and testing exercise will continue in the town. He further said the government will start distributing face masks to citizens, after the wearing of masks was declared mandatory. (UNI)
