While the country is halfway through a month-long national lockdown, New Zealand has found good results in containment of the coronavirus infections.
On Wednesday, the New Zealand has recorded its lowest number of new coronavirus cases in nearly three weeks. Only 29 new cases have been reported which is said to be the fourth successive daily drop.
With stricter border measures announced by the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, all returning nationals have to undergo into a mandatory quarantine facility for two weeks. Previously, returning nationals with no symptoms of COVID-19 were allowed to isolate themselves at home.
