COVID-19: Cases rise to 9,755 in Israel, death toll 79

Tel Aviv, Apr 9: Positive cases of COVID-19 in Israel reached 9,755, while 79 patients have so far lost their lives due to the disease, the country's Health Ministry said on Thursday.

According to the Israeli Health ministry, 165 people were in a critical condition, while 864 have recovered. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had on April 7, imposed a three-day lockdown, to prevent people from traveling and socialising during the Jewish holiday of Passover. (UNI)
