Moscow, Apr 8: A residential building partially collapsed in Nizhny Novgorod region of central Russia, leading to death of a person and injuring six other people, the Emergencies Ministry's regional department said on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry, a gas cylinder exploded in a two-story residential building at Filinskoye village in Nizhny Novgorod region, leading to collapse of a part of the building between the entrances.
"Three people were hospitalised to a medical institution, while as many were provided with medical assistance on-the-spot," Sputnik quoted a regional department official as saying. A criminal case has been opened, he added. (UNI)
