Dhaka, Mar 24: Bangladesh on Tuesday reported its fourth death from the coronavirus while six more people were tested positive of the virus taking the total number of infections to 39. In its bid to contain the deadly virus, the government deployed Army in all districts and has decided to shut down public transport from March 26 to April 4 across the country.
Inter Service Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) said that Army will work in combating COVID19 nationwide by enforcing social distancing and other cautionary measures in coordination with civil administration. The government has also shut all local, express and commuter train services from today. Bangladesh reported the country’s first death from coronavirus on March 18. (UNI)
