The UAE has decided to close all shopping malls for the next two weeks, a report by Gulf News said.
As part of the move, purchase of meat markets and vegetables markets will be shut down. In a statement early Monday, the Ministry of Health and Prevention and National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management said the decision, which excludes dealing with wholesalers, will come into force in 48 hours, and will be subject to re-assessment.
But, Grocery stores and pharmacies are exempted. Under the decision, restaurants will not be allowed to receive customers. Instead, their services will be limited to home deliveries only.
