New Delhi: Two Indian crew members on board of Japanese cruise ship, Diamond Princess, have been tested positive for coronavirus infection.
The ship is currently harboured at Yokohama on Wednesday. In the ship, altogether 174 people have tested positive, including two Indian crew members as stated by the Indian embassy.
Indian embassy is also in touch with Japanese authorities on “the possibility of their disembarkation”. “Due to the suspicion of novel coronavirus (nCoV) infection, the ship has been quarantined by the Japanese authorities till February 19, 2020,” the embassy said in a statement.
There are 138 Indians — 132 crew members and six passengers — among the 3,711 people on board.
