Goma, DR Congo, Nov 24: At least 24 bodies have been recovered after a small plane crashed in the eastern city of Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), local media reported on Sunday.
The plane, operated by the local company Busy Bee, had 17 passengers and two crew members on board, crashed during take off to the city of Beni, according to the governor of North Kivu in eastern DR Congo.
"We are up to 24 bodies now," governor said.
The authorities of the North Kivu province, where the crash took place, have announced that they would look into the incident. (UNI)
