Bangkok, Nov 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday held a bilateral meeting with Myanmar’s State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi here and both the leaders discussed measures to enhance cooperation in capacity building and people-to-people ties.
"When Act East & Neighborhood First converge. PM Narendra Modi had a constructive meeting with Myanmar’s State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to enhance cooperation in capacity building, connectivity and people-to-people ties, among other areas," MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
Both the leaders are here to attend East Asia Summit and ASEAN related Summit.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi also held bilateral meetings with his Thailand counterpart Gen Prayut Chan-o-Cha and also Indonesian President Joko Widodo. (UNI)
