Beijing, Oct 27 : At least four people were killed, one injured and two other missing in the collapse of a coal mine in the southwestern Chinese province of Sichuan, local authorities said on Sunday.
According to Sputnik, the incident occurred on Saturday at around 10.37 am when during the maintenance works, the mine's ceiling suddenly collapsed, leaving a total of seven trapped.
Rescuers found four bodies and saved another person, who was sent to a hospital. The cause of the collapse is not known, the investigation is underway. (UNI)
