Moscow, Oct 17: Pakistan Additional Foreign Secretary Muhemmed Aejaz will lead the Pakistani delegation to the Russia-China-US-Pakistan consultations on Afghanistan in Moscow on October 25, Pakistani Ambassador to Russia Qazi Khalilullah told Sputnik on Thursday.
"Our additional secretary, Mr Aejaz, who deals with Afghanistan, will be coming to attend this meeting next week," Khalilullah said. The consultations on war-ravaged Afghanistan will be joined by representatives of Russia, China, the United States and Pakistan.
Russia has long been seeking to facilitate a peace process in Afghanistan. In May, Moscow used a conference marking the centennial of diplomatic relations with Kabul to hold another round of peace consultations between representatives of the Afghan public and various political forces, including the Taliban radical movement.(UNI)
