10 killed as bomb hits Afghanistan’s Jalalabad

Kabul, Oct 7: At least 10  people were killed and 27 sustained injuries when an explosion hit Afghanistan's eastern city of Jalalabad on Monday.

Local governor's spokesperson Attaullah Khogyani, in a video statement, said the explosives were placed on a motorbike.

The injured have been taken to a hospital, some of them are in critical condition, Tolo news reported.

The incident took place at 1630 hrs local time (12 GMT). (UNI)
