Ankara, Sep 4 : Turkish security forces held 39 irregular immigrants in the northeastern state of Erzurum.

Turkish security forces held 39 immigrants, including children, in Erzurum province, where they were transferred after medical examinations to the foreigners' branch of the city in preparation for legal action, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.

The Turkish-Bulgarian, Turkish-Greek borders and Turkish shores are witnessing an increasing number of illegal immigrants taking the land or sea route, hoping to reach one of the European countries. (UNI)
