Islamabad, Aug 23 : Pakistan on Friday again wrote a letter to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, alleging violation of Security Council resolutions on Kashmir.
"The letter underscores that India’s actions constitute flagrant violations of the UN Charter, relevant Security Council resolutions, international law and India’s own solemn commitments," Pakistan foreign ministry said in a statement.
Qureshi in his letter urged the world community, including the United Nations, to call upon India to rescind its unilateral actions.
The letter is being shared with the Security Council and all members of the United Nations, the ministry said.
Earlier on August 4, Shah Mahmood Qureshi had written to the High Commissioner for Human Rights and held a telephonic conversation with her on August 8.(UNI)
