Tel Aviv, June 2 : Responding to Saturday night’s missile strike by Syria which hit Mount Hermon in northern Israel, the security forces have firmly responded by attacking their military targets, Israel Defence Force confirmed on Sunday morning.
Two rockets were launched late on Saturday night from Syria to Israel, out of which one landed in Israeli territory.
"In response, we struck a number of Syrian Armed Forces military targets … The Syrian Armed Forces targets we struck included: 2 artillery batteries; Observation & [intelligence] posts; An SA-2 aerial defense battery. We hold the Syrian regime accountable and will firmly operate against any attempt to harm Israeli civilians," IDF said in a tweet. (UNI)
