Agency News

Washington, Apr 8 : US President Donald Trump on Monday fired the head of the US Secret Service organization Randolph Alles that guards his life.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement that Alles "has done a great job at the agency over the last two years, and the President is thankful for his over 40 years of service to the country."

Trump has ordered acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney to fire Randolph “Tex” Alles, CNN reported citing multiple administration officials speaking on condition of anonymity. The reported firing came the day after Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielson was resigned from the post. The USSS director was told two weeks ago there would be a transition in leadership and he was asked to stay on until there was a replacement, according to a source close to the director.

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Francis Cissna and Office of the General Counsel's John Mitnick are also expected to be gone soon, and the White House is eyeing others to be removed. UNI
