Moscow, March 1 : Russian President Vladimir Putin does not have plans to hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in the near future, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday.
Putin talked over the phone with Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi on Thursday. "So far, no contacts with the Pakistani vis-a-vis are planned," Peskov said.
The spokesman confirmed Russia's readiness to comprehensively contribute to the settlement of the Indian-Pakistani dispute. But the initiative should come from the parties to the conflict, Peskov added.
