Moscow, Feb 3: The summit between the leaders of Russia, Turkey and Iran will take place in the Russian resort city of Sochi on February 14, during which Russian President Vladimir Putin is also set to hold a bilateral meeting with Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Kremlin confirmed to Sputnik on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, Erdogan said that he would hold talks with Putin on February 14. "Yes, this is true," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, while answering a question as to whether the summit and the bilateral meeting are slated for February 14 in Sochi.
Turkish Foreign Ministry Mevlut Cavusoglu has said that the next summit of Russian, Turkish and Iranian leaders would be held in Sochi on February 14. Moscow, Ankara and Tehran serve as the guarantor states of the ceasefire regime in Syria. (SPUTNIK)
