LONDON, Jan 30: UK lawmakers rejected on Tuesday the amendment tabled by leader of the opposition Labour party, Jeremy Corbyn, during the vote on the government's Brexit "Plan B."
The Labour amendment, calling for a no deal scenario to be ruled out, has been voted down by 327 votes to 296.
Last week, UK Prime Minister Theresa May reported on her government's plans for Brexit following the defeat of the withdrawal bill in the House of Commons.
Some of the amendments, submitted by lawmakers from different parties, if passed, would influence how the government proceeds with its Brexit plans. (UNI)
