Herat, Jan 18: Infighting between two Taliban commanders in Shindand district of the Herat province in Afghanistan had left eight fighters dead, the Afghan army said in a statement on Friday.
The clash, according to the statement, erupted on Thursday afternoon between Mullah Najibullah and Mullah Nangialai, which lasted for several hours. As a result, eight fighters from both sides were killed and several others injured.
The armed outfit has yet to make comment on the report. (UNI)
