Russian Security Council Secretary to hold consultations with India

Moscow, Dec 6: Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev starts his two-day visit to India on Thursday for consultations on security issues.

According to new Indian Ambassador to Russia D Bala Venkatesh Varma, Patrushev will hold a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval.

“Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev will visit New Delhi on December 6-7, where he will meet with the Indian prime minister’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and hold Russian-Indian inter-departmental consultations on security,” the Russian Security Council’s press service said.
