Buenos Aires, Dec 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday held a meeting with Argentinian President Mauricio Macri and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties.
"Had a productive meeting with President Mauricio Macri. We had extensive discussions on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between India and Argentina," Mr Modi tweeted.
Prime Minister also thanked President Macri for hosting a "wonderful" G-20 Summit.
Mr Modi is in Buenos Aires for attending the G20 Summit.
"Look forward to welcome him in India soon," Mr Modi wrote.
MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar in a Tweet said: "In a special gesture, President of Argentina Mauricio Macri hosted PM Narendra Modi over breakfast at his official residence".
Both the leaders had good discussion on cooperation in agriculture and food processing, space, defence, oil and gas and civil nuclear energy. (UNI)
