Sushma meets her Romanian counterpart; discusses to boost coop on agri, pharma

New Delhi, Nov 27: India and Romania on Monday discussed bilateral ties and also deliberated on matters related to diversify the historical relations and boosting cooperation in the fields of agriculture, health and pharma.

"Evolving a roadmap for collaboration," MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar tweeted after the visiting Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu held discussions here. He said both the leaders discussed diversifying the historical relations and boosting cooperation in the fields of agriculture, health and pharma, education, tourism and culture.

"Deep historical and cultural linkages have formed a solid basis for our present day cooperation," Kumar said. The visiting dignitary will also meet Deputy NSA. India and Romania celebrate 70 years of establishment of diplomatic relations this year. UNI
