Islamabad, Sep 16: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Karachi on Sunday, first time after assuming the Premier's office.
During his daylong visit, Khan will visit mausoleum of founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah and offer fateha. Besides presiding over meeting on law and order and ongoing projects, the Prime Minister will chair all the meetings at State Guest House instead of Governor House.
Later in the day, the Prime Minister will participate in fundraising dinner at Governor House before returning to Islamabad. Earlier, talking to media at Karachi airport, Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Zaidi said Karachi's development is on top of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s agenda, adding that the PM will arrive in the city with good news.
President Arif Alvi also arrived in the metropolis and paid a visit to the Quaid-e-Azam's mausoleum on Saturday. (UNI)
