Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's son-in-law, Captain (retd) Safdar, was shifted to Adiala Jail following a hearing in the National Accountability Bureau court on Monday, The Express Tribune reported on Monday.
Safdar, who was arrested on Sunday, was brought to the NAB court through the judges’ gate. The media personnel were barred from entering the court room during Safdar’s arrival, with security officials pushing media teams away.
The reporters protested and demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the accountability court judge. The media men were barred from entering inside dueto security concerns, according to Sardar Muzaffar Deputy Prosecutor General NAB.
The NAB judge has however said that the media will be allowed access during the Al-Azizia Stell Mills case hearing. (UNI)
