Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said India's model of cooperation with the global community and especially among BRICS member nations is driven purely by the requirements and priorities of its partner countries.
Describing it as “no strings attached model" of cooperation, Modi mooted 10 noble commitments to be taken up by BRICS leadership for global transformation. In this context, he said there is a need to create a 'Greener World' by taking concerted action on climate change and through initiatives such as International Solar Alliance. He said the BRICS nations comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa should work collectively for a "digital world and skilled world" that would ensure an healthier equitable world and harmonious future. Strongly pitching for creating a 'Safer World', the Prime Minister said there should be organised and coordinated action on Counter Terrorism, Cyber Security and Disaster Management.
