Shimla, Jun 8 : A building was sealed after its owner tested positive for Corona at Malayana, outside of this capital town, Deputy Commissioner said here on Monday. Deputy Commissioner Amit Kashayap said that the man returned to Shimla on May 30 from Gurugram and was suffering from fever.
He was shifted to IGMC a few days ago after being found symptomatic for the Covid-19 where he tested positive last night. Mr Kashayap said that the man was in home quarantine after his return to Malayana before he was admitted in the hospital. The building was sealed today and his contacts were being traced. Senior Medical Officer of IGMC Shimla Dr Janak Raj told UNI last night that a 58-year-old resident of Sanjauli outskirt of Shimla returned from Gurugram of Haryana on May 30 tested positive at IGMC microbiology lab on Sunday. With this, the total number of cases in Shimla district mounted to 13 including four active and as many recovered. (UNI)
