Ten fresh Covid cases push Himachal tally to 120

Shimla, May 21 : Ten more people tested positive for Coronavirus in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, taking the hill state's tally of confirmed cases to 120. A report from Dharamshala said that five people each have tested positive for the SARS-COV-2 in Kangra and Solan district.

Kangra Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Pràjapati while confirming it told UNI that all those who have tested positive have returned recently from Mumbai and were under institutional quarantine at Radha Soami Satsang Bhawan at Parlour.

He said that those who have tested positive include a 41-year-old female resident of village Adhwani near Jawalamukhi, 54-year-old male resident of Saliali villager in Nurpur, 24-year-old male from Nagrota Bagwan town, 57-year-old male from village Kathla in Jaisinghpur tehsil and 36-year-old male from Bhawarna. All the positive tested patients have been shifted to Covid-19 containment centre at Baijnath. (UNI)
