Dharamsala, May 11 : Another person of Kangra sub division tested positive for Covid-19 in Kangra district on Monday. Deputy Commissioner Kangra Mr Rakesh Kumar Prajapati told UNI that a 63-year-old male who had returned from Delhi on May 8, has tested positive.
The victim, he said, is a resident of Chaounda village in Kangra sub division. After identification he has been sent to a quarantine centre. Those who came in his contact have been identified for isolation. With this, the total number of Covid positive patients in the district has risen to ten.
There are 5 active cases and 4 have been cured and 1 Tibetan died due to Coronavirus in in Tanda Medical College who had returned from the US. All five active cases are those who have returned from Delhi or their primary contacts. (UNI)
