It has started taking action against all such persons who were violating its provisions and violators are none other than those who are reaching their home district from other parts of India. Four more persons in the Hamirpur district have been sent to institutional quarantine for fourteen days for violating the Home quarantine conditions and roaming outside their houses. One of them belongs to Baleta village of Nadaun sub division and three others from Bhoranj revenue sub division of the district.
Cases under Indian penal code and Disaster Management act had been registered against them by the Police at respective police stations of the district, said District Magistrate, Harikesh Meena here today. Earlier, two such persons were booked by the Sujanpurtira police recently and cases were registered against them accordingly. Meanwhile, Meena has made it mandatory for parents of all such persons who had reached the district from other states also to observe the rules and regulations and didn’t venture out along with their wards who had reached home from outside.
In an order, the District Magistrate had said that those who would violate these orders would be sent to Institutional quarantine and also face the proceedings of IPC and Disaster Management act.
