Kangra, Nov 12 :The school lecturers in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday demanded the state government to implement the Supreme Court's decision regarding the pension of lecturers appointed before 2003 and fill up all the vacant posts of Principals in Government Senior Secondary Schools immediately, in the interest of the students.
According to Spokesperson of the Himachal Pradesh School Lecturers Association Rajan Sharma, the state government had failed to implement the apex court's decision regarding pension, despite getting reminders about the same. If the apex court order was not implemented, the school lecturers would be left with no other option, but to move the apex court against the state government, Mr Sharma warned.
He said the Association would submit a memorandum to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in this regard and stress upon him for accepting their genuine demands. (UNI)
