Mandi, Oct 4: Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur on Friday said that India was poised to take a lead forward to expand the economy to five trillion dollars 2025.
Addressing a mega meet of the leading banks of the country, Mr Thakur said 720 unemployed youths entrepreneurs would be given loans for starting industrial units on easy and liberal terms in the state to accelerate the pace of development. He assured that taxing agency would not harass the entrepreneurs. Strict action would follow against the erring officials, if any.
He added that it had been stipulated to assure transparency against the corrupt and dishonest officials.
He congratulated the people of Mandi for having a chief minister from their district and added that he (Anurag Thakur) also the son-in-law of Mandi. Therefore, he hoped that Mandi district would develop by leaps and bounds. (UNI)
