Shimla, Aug 16 : South West Monsoon likely to be vigorous in next 24 hrs as Indian Meteorological Department issued Red warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in the state for next four days.
The state got or likely to get heavy to very heavy rainfall in the mid and foot hills in last and next 24 hrs. In Bilaspur district, Ghumarwin had 115 mm rainfall, Sarkaghat in Mandi 110 mm Jatton Barrage in Sirmaur 84 mm, Gohar in Mandi 58 mm, Nadaun in Hamirpur 53 mm, Nagrota Suriyan in Kangra 48 mm and Guler 47 mm.
Nahan in Sirmaur 46 mm, Baldwara in Mandi 42 mm, Solan 36 mm, Gaggal 34 mm Kandaghat in Solan 28 mm, Palampur 24 mm, Baijnath in Kangra & Renuka in Sirmaur 21 mm each, Bhoranj 15 mm, Hamirpur and Kufri 12 mm each, Dalhousie in Chamba & Dharamshala in Kangra 8 mm each, Bharari in Hamirpur seven mm Ghamroor in Kangra six mm, Dehra Gopipur and Kasauli in Solan five mm each.
District Una, Bilaspur, Chamba, Kangra and Mandi likely to get heavy to very heavy rainfall in next 24 hrs. District Kangra, Mandi and Shimla on day after tomorrow. (UNI)
