New Delhi, Feb 23: Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday filed a supplementary chargesheet against former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh in a corruption case under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) also in a separate case filed chargesheet against Mr Singh, his wife and others. CBI has alleged that Mr Singh had amassed assets worth around Rs 10 crore which were disproportionate to his total income during his tenure as a Union Minister.
The ED filed supplementary chargesheet on the basis of the CBI case. After the filing of chargesheet, special judge Arun Bhardwaj adjourned the matter for consideration till March 18. (UNI)
