Shimla, Sep 26: The six trekkers, who had gone missing on September 21, were rescued in a joint operation of police and ITBP from Sangla Jot of Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, police said.
The trekkers were identified as Ashutosh (Guide), Deepraj, Nikhil, Ashutosh, Honey and Puneet, belonging to Jubbal and Rohru area of Himachal, Sangla SHO Ishwar Singh said.
The trekkers, who had started from Dodrakwar, had gone missing after heavy rainfall and snowfall, police said.
The rescued would be brought to Sangla on Thursday, police added. (UNI)
