Abuja, Mar 22 : Measles outbreak has claimed the lives of 13 children in Nigeria's Borno State, Health Care Agency said on Friday.
In a statement, the Borno State Primary Health Care Agency said the airborne disease has spread across 25 local council areas in the state.
"Thirteen council areas are most affected by measles in 33 wards," the statement said.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) would provide technical support for the 10-day immunisation exercise, the official said. (UNI)
