25-yr-old Chinese engineer fingers reattached

Coimbatore, Dec 25 :In a complex micro surgery, 25-year-old Chinese engineer, who suffered amputation of his two fingers at Aurangabad, Maharashtra, while installing machinery at a new plant, got his index finger and thumb reattached successfully after 22 hours in a city based Hospital.

In a release here on Tuesday here, Ganga Hospital, Department of Plastic, Hand, Burns and Micro Surgery Chairman Dr S Raja Sabapathy said that Mr Gau Rong, is a Chinese Engineer who came to install machinery at a new plant in Aurgangabad.He specializes in installing machines which make drills.

While at work on the December 17 at about 1400 hrs, he met with an accident.His left index finger tip and the thumb tip were totally amputated. UNI
