Preventive injection for migraine launched in Israel

Jerusalem, Sep 15: As a reprieve for those suffering from migraine, soon a preventive injection for the neurological disease will be launched in Israel.

Teva Pharmaceutical, the world's largest generic drugmaker of Israel, announced on Saturday that it would begin marketing "Ajovy," a preventive drug against migraine.

The company is awaiting approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a report in Chinese state news agency Xinhua said.

Migraine is a common form of headache, usually very intensive and restricts the activity. It is a phenomenon of the nervous system that cannot be predicted in advance. (UNI)
