Chandigarh, Apr 12: Haryana police has arrested a man from Nuh district, who was involved in about three dozen ATMs theft cases, and recovered a loaded country-made pistol from him.
Stating this here on Sunday, a Haryana Police spokesperson said that arrested accused, identified as Sajid, a resident of Balai, is an expert in uprooting ATMs and cutting them open to retrieve the cash. The accused was arrested by a team of Crime Investigation Agency, Nuh from Hathin Mor following a tip-off. During preliminary interrogation, the accused had confessed to having involved in about three dozen of ATM uprooting case in Telangana, Hyderabad and Haryana. Police of many states had been searching him for a long time. A case against the accused has been registered and further investigation is underway. (UNI)
