Chandigarh, Nov 14: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday expanded the Cabinet of the 19-day-old BJP-JJP coalition government by inducting six Cabinet Ministers and four Ministers of State.
Five Bharatiya Janata Party legislators and an Independent from have been inducted as Cabinet Ministers. For Minister of State, three from the BJP and one from Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) have made their way.
Those who took oath as cabinet ministers included BJP leaders Anil Vij (Ambala Cantt), Kanwarpal Gurjar (Jagadhri), Mool Chand Sharma (Ballabhgarh), Jai Prakash Dalal (Loharu), Dr Banwari Lal (Bawal) and Independent MLA Ranjit Singh (Rania).
Three other BJP legislators who were inducted in the cabinet as Ministers of State included Om Parkash Yadav (Narnaul), Kamlesh Dhanda (Kalayat), Olympian Sandeep Singh (Pehowa) and JJP MLA Anup Dhanak (Uklana).Governor Satyadevo Narain Arya administered the oath of office to the ministers in a simple ceremony held at Raj Bhawan here.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, Union Minister Narinder Tomar, BJP state In-charge Anil Jain, Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala and Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta were among those who were present on the occasion. (UNI)
